In my last demo of advance hacking i introduced a new linux OS Back Track 5. It is enriched with variety of tools for digital forensics and penetration testing.
One of them is Ettercap:-
Ettercap works on man in middle attack principle. it sniffs the networks and gives you private parameters used in that network by various hosts.Working of ettercap is also discussed in detail in presentation 1. Here we will learn how to attack and sniff network using ettercap.
DEMO:-
This demonstration is performed on virtual machine having backtrack as well as window xp client at once. windows XP client is targeted by backtrack client using ettercap i.e. sniffing tool.
